Accounts Payable Clerk

We are currently looking for a skilled, dedicated person to fill the position of Accounts Payable Clerk at our Corporate Office in Moncton, NB . 

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for ensuring all invoices and payments are processed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Manage weekly check runs
• Posting AP invoices
• New vendor setups and verification of vendor details
• Reviewing & reconciling monthly vendor statements
• Following up with admin on invoices that need posting
• Complete online payments
• Ensuring admin are posting invoices timely & accurately to receive all discounts
• Following up with vendors on missing invoiced or errors on statements
• Review and maintain record of petty cash reports from all locations
• Verifying pricing
• Gathering proper approval of invoices
• General administrative support
• Other duties as required

Requirements and Skills:

• Post-secondary education with an exposure to accounting and 1-2 years in a related position preferred
• Knowledge of systems to perform job functions (Equip and Microsoft Office)
• Relevant clerical experience preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently as well as with a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
